Greetings from Course Director, Master of Medical Sciences

We seek people who desire to be medical researchers or educators contributing to improvement of fundamental medicine and medical industry.

The Master of Medical Sciences is a two-year professional master's program, which is designed for graduate students wishing to gain their knowledge and skills in biomedical science and/or human health security. This program enables students to learn in a wide range of basic sciences, clinical sciences, and population health research. Under the mentorship of a faculty member, students receive specialized training and exposure to our finest multidisciplinary research. We offer three educational courses: 1) Medical sciences, 2) Molecular imaging, and 3) International human security, one of which students should select when entering the master course.

In the medical science course, students can gain their knowledge on molecular genetics, internal medicine, external medicine, embryology, immunology, neuroscience, cancer science, medical ethics, medical statistics, etc. Furthermore, students can receive experimental training for their own special field that the students choose by themselves among the above fields.

Molecular imaging course is designed for practitioners, such as radiation technologists, who wish to develop their knowledge and skills in medical and diagnostic imaging.

The international human security program provides not only general knowledge in the human health safety and security but also the theory and methodology requisite for human security professionals to face the outbreak and disaster.
