Courtesy Visit by Delegation from National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University
On April 15-16, a delegation from National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU, Taiwan), led by Professor Huang Shir-Ly, visited the Graduate School of Medicine.
The two institutions have previously conducted collaborative research seminars mainly in the field of neuroscience.This visit was arranged to explore the possibility of further strengthening collaboration with our Graduate School of Medicine.
During the visit, the delegation paid a courtesy call on the Dean Naoto Ishii, as well as visit several laboratories including those of Professor Kenichiro Tsutsui, Professor Kazuhiko Igarashi and Professor Takaaki Abe. Each laboratory introduced their on-going researches and current hot topics, followed by active question-and-answer sessions. Fruitful discussions were held regarding the possibility of the research collaborations.
The two institutions look forward to deeper and broader collaboration in the future.
