NIH-Japan Early-Stage Investigator Forum 2024 Learn Cutting-Edge Biomedical Research and Career Journey from Researchers at NIH –

Research in the field of basic medical biology is being conducted worldwide by professionals from various disciplines, including medicine, dentistry, science, pharmacy, agriculture, engineering, etc.
Many Japanese researchers are active at the National Institutes of Health (NIH),one of the leading research institutions globally in this field.
This forum aims to introduce undergraduate and graduate students, as well as early-career postdoctoral researchers,to cutting-edge research at the NIH and to showcase global role models offering opportunities for study abroad.
Speakers will include principal investigators and early-career scientists currently conducting research at the NIH,along with young researchers who have returned to Japan from the NIH and are now engaged in local research and clinics.
Each speaker will share their career paths leading up to their current roles and research projects.
During the presentations, each speaker will talk about their research in a comprehensive way to help undergraduate students who have been just studying basic medical science, better understand the context.
Q&A session will follow each presentation, allowing participants to inquire about research content and explore opportunities for study abroad.
We hope you will join us and get the insights to shape your future career.
