Recruitment of a professor at the Department of Clinical Oncology, Tohoku University Graduate School of Medicine
This is to inform you that Professor Chikashi Ishioka will retire on March 31, 2024, from the Department of Clinical Oncology, Tohoku University Graduate School of Medicine. We are now calling for applicants for the position of his successor.
This position will be :
(1) Chief of the Department of Clinical Oncology, Tohoku University Graduate School of Medicine, and responsible for education and research in Clinical Oncology.
(2) director at the Department of Medical Oncology at Tohoku University Hospital.

⑥ Outline of research history and accomplishments (Free-format, approx. 4,000 characters in Japanese or approx. 2,000 words in English, including industry-academia collaboration and intellectual property. Figures and tables may be included.)
⑦ Outline of clinical activities (Free-format, approx. 2,000 characters in Japanese or approx.
1,000 words in English. Figures and tables may be included.)
⑧ Plans for education, research, and clinical practice (Free format, approx. 4,000 characters in Japanese or approx 2,000 words in English. Figures and tables may be included.)
※ Documents other than the recommendation letter should be submitted in PDF format on a CD-R or other electronic media.
2. Additional remarks
(1) Applicants must have a Ph.D.degree
(2) Applicants must be both a Fellow of the Japanese Society of Internal Medicine and a Board-certified Medical Oncologist of the Japanese Society of Clinical Oncology.
(3) Terms of office based on the Act on Term of Office of University Teachers, etc.
(Ten-year term, renewable)
