社会への還流、そして、世界的な拠点に ―グローバルCOEの最終年度に向けて
東日本大震災を受けて
東北大学脳科学GCOE拠点リーダーからのメッセージ

3月11日に発生した巨大地震とそれに伴う津波では、東北および関東地方に甚大な被害が生じました。お亡くなりになった方や、行方不明の方々、今なお不自由な生活をされている多くの被災者に、心からお見舞い申し上げます。多くの方々にご心配をいただきましたが、幸いなことに東北大学脳科学グローバルCOE拠点メンバーおよびその研究室において人的な被害の報告はありませんが、研究室設備等の復旧にはしばらく時間がかかるかと思われます。是非、皆様の暖かいご支援を宜しく御願い申し上げます。

Due to the massive earthquake and tsunami that happened on March 11, 2011, extensive damages occurred in Tohoku and Kanto areas of Japan. On behalf of Tohoku Neuroscience Global COE, I sincerely express my deepest sympathy for all of those involved in this disaster. All of our members are grateful for concerns that have been sent soon after the earthquake. Fortunately, we have not received any reports on human victims in our students and faculty at the moment. Although it will take some time to restore damaged lab facilities, we continue our activities to encourage our students. We would thus appreciate your kind financial support.
