OUTLINE

It has been a long time since the declining birthrate has become a social problem, and many policies have been put forward, but it is hard to say that this tendency has been stopped. Unfortunately, this problem is expected to continue for decades, and sustainable and effective counterplans are expected. Tohoku University holds big data in Tohoku Medical Megabank, and by extracting arbitrary data from this big data, it is possible to create solutions to previously unrecognized trends and various social issues. Our aim of research is to investigate the relationship between pregnancy / delivery and the life expectancy, subsequent lifestyle-related diseases, and mental health of the woman. And our aim is to create a sustainable solution against declining birthrate, disseminate information based on the obtained results, and develop education and social enlightenment activities for the better pregnancy and delivery.
